The Buster Sword

The Buster Sword is Cloud Strife's signature weapon. It is a very thick, two-handed broadsword.

The sword, which is about 60" long, has a single-edge and enormous width. Not only is the sword iconic for being used by Cloud, but it has a unique, almost unwieldable design, much like the Masamune. The sword, it seems, was meant to allow individuals to compare and contrast Cloud and Sephiroth even further. The Buster Sword is an extremely thick, very large sword. The Masamune is an extremely long, very large sword. The thickness draws a contrast with Sephiroth's blade, while the overall size draws a close comparison.
